Leg 1: 218mi, 4hr55min
So this is the unofficial start of our road trip across the country, well at least to Chicago. Unofficial because we didn't drive this segment- we will pick up our rental car after Yosemite.We started off Friday morning with my brother driving. We had a great trip, taking our time through the park and a detour to Yosemite Valley.
We even got to crawl through a fallen sequoia tree in Tuolumne Grove. Unfortunately Mariposa Grove is closed for restoration, but we enjoyed seeing some baby giants.
We met dad and BK at the cabin in Bass Lake, and of course we couldn't miss out on burger Friday!
